Default Move flight entry from flight screen to aircraft screen

Instead of entering flights on the flight screen, you'll enter flights from the aircraft screen.

This will allow me to customize the entry form to the type of aircraft. So you won't have to enter fuel data for an electric and vice-versa.

The flight screen will still show flights for all aircraft, but you won't be able to enter new flights there anymore after I install this change.

I think this will make the process flow more logical overall.

I'm re-thinking this one. It may not make so much sense after all. I may just make the entry form dynamic instead. IOW, when you choose the aircraft it will dynamically change the form to have the appropriate fields in it. Maybe it makes sense to allow the users to "filter" fields they don't care about in their settings as well....

gregt,
Are you saying for example, when a new aircraft is setup, you will have a list that we can check/uncheck for the fields we want to populate when we add a flight? I also think it might be nice to view the FLIGHT screen by aircraft. I'll give an example...If I fly my electric, I log the flight right away. I do not recharge the batteries until I'm ready to use them again. So, if I fly my nitros for a couple weeks and don't touch the electric, I have to go back several pages to find the flight with that battery when I charge it. This is easy to do, and not even a problem (please don't think it's a complaint). This sight is SO VERY APPRECIATED, keep up the good work!

I think maybe a filter would be the easiest way to accomplish what you want.
