Tried Eagle Tree Again with a washer to space the crank sensor from the backplate. RPM readings looked great. Throttle is 0-40-70 hover is at 54%

The day was plagued with engine tuning issues. I had the Pantera with tt53 & Outrage pipe. Used the Eagle Tree but with my poor tuning was unable to get much worthwhile data. The Pantera was also hard to tune, and I eventually changed the glow plug which helped a great deal. I hope to get the KME built carb soon.

58 deg day, and Amy MADE me go fly!!! I did a lot of continuous rolls flying forward. Right was easy, left was ugly, I must by adding for/aft pitch and messing it up. I also did some stationary continuous rolls & flips, very high up. flying backwards is becoming second nature. I still freak out whenever I get inverted. I attempted a forward moving back flip while maintaining same altitude. It looked bad, but it'll come.

first 50+ deg day in over a month.
Velocity #1
Had 2 good flights, did some backwards flying, couple loops. I keep turning in manuevers, loops aren't straight through. Practiced more sideways flying, easier in the air opposed to the sim. On the 3rd flight I had a flameout from a lean condition that I didn't notice (should have) and toasted the piston on the KME. Replaced piston & ring.
Velocity #2
Waiting on servos
Pantera
Engine issues still

Flew the G5 today. Went through 3 packs. Spent the last 2 packs trying to hold the heli inverted tail in. Was able to hold 30 seconds max. It was very windy.

Outrage G5 - Hovered through 3 batteries, mostly tail-in inverted. building confidence, got as low as 15 ft.
Velocity 50 - flew with the Multigov Pro for the first time. It made quite a difference in forward flight, heli wanted to stay level. It was great. I am getting reduced flight time of 7 minutes. Used to land at 7 minutes with fuel, now sucking fumes at 7. Governor was set to 2100. I'll play with it more after Velocity 2 is flying.

Default FBL with Skookum 720

Had the SK720 installed for the first time on the Velocity 50 (#1). It had a horrible oscillation that I think was caused by poor mounting (using the align adhesive gel) and the cyclic gain being set to 100% instead of 50%. Need to start over basically.
